Weaving for the Holidays
After taking one of Tien’s color classes (I think it was Gorgeous Gradients), I decided I would weave red and green napkins in 20/2 cotton and not have them turn into a brown blob. I found a draft on Handweaving.net (#79305), and used 3 values of green in the warp and 3 values of red in the weft (and threw in a shot of yellow in a few). I also wove with other colors (3 values of blue, purple, gold, and yellow). I think I was successful–you can see the red and green at a distance from which you would view a napkin, and all show nice irridesence.
