I just got done viewing the Dec. 3 Live Lecture on Weaving for the Winter Holidays (it has been a busy month)! What a valuable lesson with extensive carry over information for any project! I have been struggling to select a draft for wedding (not holiday) gift towels for my nephew and his mother gave me a suggested color palette that is very limited. This came at just the right time for me. I will certainly utilize many of Tien’s guidelines in planning this special project. Thank you!

Thanks, Carol! Glad it was of use to you. I agree that there’s much more to the class than just specific palettes – it’s really how to work with different types of palettes.

I also found that the lessons from “Holiday Weaving” could be applied to any color palette and have been playing around to design some towels for my brother which will not use any of the holiday palettes. And I’ll view them again around July, when I hope to remember that I want to weave something for the December holiday season!

I did that class as soon as it was posted and had several drafts ready for the holiday, however like Sheila, I will revisit it in the summer. But I remember thinking what a great class. I have been working to much to get anything done, but I’m back now.
