Twills – front and back
Good day All,
I should know the answer to this question after all this time, but Handweaving.net (and FiberWorks also) is giving me an answer that makes me wonder.
Shouldn’t a straight draw twill threading and treadling that is tied up 1-2; 2-3; 3-4; 1-4 produced a fabric that is warp faced on one side and weft faced on the other?
Additionally, upon close inspection it appears that the tie up on Side 1 – the original tie up. – is changed in the screenshot of Side 2. That has me truly thrown.
Maybe I need caffeine? Thanks in advance…
Bobbi
