I would love to take a Handweaving.net 3 shaft pattern for a scarf ie. John Landes….and go step by step starting with picking the density for a scarf, choosing correct fibers to match density, threading the particular pattern, and weaving.

I have been so excited trying all these colors and designs I got the opportunity to participate in a simple show. This enabled me to sell some of my scarves and make some money to buy a new rigid heddle and yarns. I found a gourd at the coop near me so I made a holiday decoration for my table. This young man loved the gourd, named her Pamela …..so I gave Pam to the young man. It was a fun day!

Oh yes, I’ll second this request! Understanding all the concepts behind the actions is good, but putting it into practice will reinforce that new knowledge.

Congratulations on selling your scarves Cass! I did one in November and sold quite a few things, and then another in December and didn’t do well at all. I guess it just depends on who the shoppers are who show up!

We could do a study group! Let’s see what Tien and Janet think about hosting a study group with meetings over Zoom to go through the process together step by step.
