The triadic color harmony uses three colors spaced evenly around the color wheel, so that the colors used all have a medium level of hue contrast, and the hue contrast is the same between all the colors. Yellow, magenta, and cyan are a triadic color harmony, as are green, red, and blue.

Triadic color harmonies have only medium levels of hue contrast between pairs of colors, resulting in medium levels of drama created by hue contrast.
